In owners' own words
When accelerating from a stop at about 20mph on a city street and once entering a freeway entrance, car would stop accelerating, the rpm tachometer would spike high but car does not move for a couple of seconds then abruptly transmission engages then violently jumps and accelerates. Almost had another car hit me from behind twice. Had the car about close to a month now and its has happened 4 separate occasions. Power train · reported at 28,750 miles
Loss of power driving down the highway. Went from going 60 mph to 20 mph. Dealerahip service could not find anything wrong with it. They cleared code and stated vehicle seemed to be running fine. I was driving on a rural highway 299 in trinity county california where there was no cell service and was left stranded. I drove on the shoulder the rest of the 30 miles to get to dealership. While exiting an automatic car wash, I pressed the brake pedal to put the vehicle in gear and while turning in the lot to go to a vacuum station the accelerator stuck and went to wide open full speed mode and I could not stop it with the brakes. I shot through a vacuum stall, jumped a curb and hit a concrete drain collection box. The air bags deployed but the car was a total loss. Power train
