The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Takata recall..Received a recall notice on 07/2016/ from GMC about defective air bag. Letter says "no need to take action now. You will be notified when parts are available to remedy your vehicle." I have never been notified by gm..Still waiting, I now have a college student driving this pickup and would like some attention. Air bags
