In owners' own words
The vehicle develops "death wobble" when hitting bumps within the road, to the point that all control over the vehicle is lost until speeds are reduced to below 20 mph. The steering becomes extremely violent, preventing any corrective measures from being possible. Early today, the event almost caused a three car accident in a residential community. Hit a bump around 40 mph and lost all control of the vehicle. Steering · reported at 6,500 miles
While driving the Jeep, it is almost impossible to keep the vehicle in a straight line. I have to constantly adjust the wheel to keep myself in my lane, otherwise I drift from left to right. It does not matter the speed either, if I don't keep correcting myself, I just end up in the lane next to me or almost crossing over the lines. Besides the vehicle wandering all over the road, the steering is very loose. Steering · reported at 235 miles
Bought the vehicle brand new on 06/19/2020. Since driving the steering has became significantly loose. Alot of play in the wheel. Driving on roads its very hard to keep straight. I do not feel safe driving it. Feels like you have to constantly correct while driving. Feels like im going to crash into another car. There is alot of dead zone in the wheel. This must be looked at. This os not a "Jeep thing". Steering
