In owners' own words

Steering wheel locks up at highway speeds, making it very difficult to make any turns. This can be a life threatening issue in many circumstances. No warning lights come on. It happened to me on 03/17/22 , only after a day of owning the vehicle. I found many threats online reporting the same issue. Not sure why this is not a recall yet. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/steering-wheel-locking-up.20839/ Steering
While driving down highway beginning to go around left-hand curve, when you start to turn steering wheel toward the left, it will not turn. To get the vehicle to turn to the left, you have to apply the brake, but when you do apply the brake, the steering wheel releases the pressure that is holding it from not turning to the left. As a result the vehicle will dart into the on coming lane, head on to on coming traffic. Steering · reported at 7,500 miles
Jeep attempted a second fix of the death wobble problem. By changing out the dampeners and extending some rod. Well it did help with the death wobble, if you hit certain bumps just right with the wheel turn, it still feels like there's a slight wobble, that is quickly corrected . After this second fix. My Jeep no longer rides like it used to. I find myself drifting more easily and the steering not as it was before Steering · reported at 13,000 miles
