The contact owns a 2022 Ram Promaster 1500. The contact stated that while driving and turning the steering wheel, the steering wheel became stuck in the position turned. After restarting the vehicle, the failure was self-corrected. The contact stated that the failure occurred while driving and turning in either direction and while driving forward or while reversing. Loosing power steering at 50,000 miles. Dealer states out of warranty. This should not be happening on less than a 3 year old promaster van. Total loss now. was happening randomly. driving 70 mph and hit a bump, steering would pull/jerk to the oppisite direction. also slower speeds as well, including reverse Steering
forward collision warning has never worked, after resetting it in controls it will show not working soon after. this has occurred in many 2022 and 2023 ProMaster units. the company says it is a weather problem. after replacing the camera unit, it still does not function. I purchased this unit new, it has never worked.I purchased this unit especially for this safety feature among others included in the contract. Service brakes
