Manual transmission car stalls at low speeds and at idle. Happens with the clutch fully to the floor, in neutral, and also while in gear. Car has stalled 3 times in sequence sitting at a red light. Also has stalled after getting off highway 6 times now, each time while slowing for a red light or stopped. Total of 9 or so stalls now. Car is brand new, purchased with 33 miles on it. Now up to about 300 miles total. Engine · reported at 220 miles
The engine will frequently stall when I come to a complete stop, requiring me to shift the car into park, restart the car, and then put it back into gear. I have the dsg transmission and this issue has occurred both with the auto start/stop on and with it off. I sometimes don't realize the engine has stalled until I have to start moving again, at a red light for instance, which creates a dangerous situation. Engine · reported at 300 miles
The car will stall when slowing down to a stop in neutral, then will require restarting. Problem is more persistent in warmer temperature and also when the oil temperature is above 220 degrees. However does not cause cel or throw any codes. I am concerned about my safety operating the vehicle in this condition because I constantly have to restart the car which can put me in very dangerous situation. Engine · reported at 89 miles
