In owners' own words
The issue I am having on my 2017 Honda Civic is steering issues. Especially when it is warmer, the steering sticks and is jerky when trying to keep it in a straight line. It feels very unsafe and unstable driving especially on a highway at a higher speed limit. When needing to make a slight merge, with the steering sticking, you feel it jerk when you have to merge. This has happened constantly since last summer. Steering
2017 Honda Civic experiences random reduced steering maneuverability while driving. Steering wheel becomes briefly stuck in one direction while turning, usually requiring over-steering to correct the issue. Steering wheel becomes less responsive and difficult to turn. Vehicle is available for inspection. Problem has not been confirmed by dealership. No lights or messages displayed on dash or digital console. Steering
The steering wheel has sticky spots and still continues to require extra effort to do small movements to remain on center. Iâve noticed this has happened to other Honda Civics. I would like my vehicle to get recalled to replace my steering. My car is under 100,000 miles and should not be having issues this early. Itâs also a safety issue and needs to be recalled. I have complained about this before. Steering
