In owners' own words

After turning on to a 4 lane highway, my car lost power and would not run over 40 miles per hour. This put me into a very dangerous situation as you can imagine. I will be finding someone to look at it tomorrow, however, this exact issue is described in the recall CVT transmission recall but ironically, this car does not appear to be included in the recall. There were absolutely no warning lights when this happened. Power train
Vechicle was traveling at 50 mph on a country backroad when engine revved to 4.5K rpm. Warning lights came on, on dashboard. Then the car started to shake. Got the car home and looked under the hood to find that transmission fluid cap had not been where it needed to be and was sitting next to the hole. Had to towed to the dealership where they told me I'll need a whole ne transmission when the car is under 86k miles Power train · reported at 85,600 miles
