In owners' own words
The transmission went out and will not go in reverse. Thank goodness my daughter made it her friends from where we had it towed to bulldog transmission. The car is not drivable. It has 116000 mileage. The car did have a louder engine noise that other cars Iâve driven. The car was fine for several weeks, we bought it used. The car had a hard time getting up the neighborhood hill then died in the friends driveway. Power train
I was driving the Ford Focus (2015) about 40 m/hr when it suddenly stalled and the transmission started to act weird. Service engine came on and I read the code as p090c. I had to control the car right away as it stalled. Read a lot about this code online and it seems to be a common reported problem with the Ford Focus, and there is high safety concerns as well as reoccurring issues even after repairs are completed. My transmission gave out for the 3rd time on 8-1-26 as I was driving it slow down while on the highway busy street and studder it only goes into 2nd and 3rd gear when slowing down I can hear things clicking i know its the duel clutch because this is the 3rd time it happen both times it was fixed by a ford dealer.
