Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Honda Pilot. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v344000 (air bags); however, the part needed for the repair was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect. Air bags
Passenger air bag lights continuously on. Took to mechanic, mechanic said itâs most likely a bad sensor or a wiring issue thatâs causing the failure. Thatâs all I could find out without tearing into it any further. He ran all the tests and nothing shows that the sensor is bad. But he said it doesnât make sense that itâs showing itâs bad. He is leaning towards wiring. Wiring??? I havenât touched that. Air bags
