I own a 1999 Mazda 626 with the 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. The car has 44,000 miles on it and is on it's second transmission. The first transmission was replaced in 12/15/99. I am now facing replacing the transmission again. The car is well maintained and after reviewing data I find that I am not alone in my situation as this transmission is a problem with many other consumers as well.
