When drivng or accelerating, the engine seems to hang in 'gear'. I have to let go of the gas and re-apply the gas and it kicks into the next gear, but even then, it feels like it is accelerating very slowly. I did not know where else to send a complaint about this. I do live in canada, so you can email me at the address that I gave to maybe give me some tips or suggestions on what to do...Thank-you. The transmission originally failed in april 2000 at 89000 miles. I purchased another transmission from Mazda and when the transmission was put in I was advised the transmission that was in there was not the original. I now have 12000 miles nd am h19aving to once again replace the transmission. I also have 4 friends that own or have owned the 1994,19 95, or 96 Mazda 626 and had the same problems. Power train
When driving at any speed the transmission is going out. Giving prior warnnig befor going out, and the overdrive warning light will come and kick the gear out of overdrive.The engine raises up real fast and got not going anywhere, but then the gear will go back into neutra.L after 45 seconds it will go right back into different gears, and then it might not happen for about two days.
