The brakes are making grinding noise. They have been changed once by the dealership at 13000 miles, and then at 27000 miles they were again changed by sears. In a parking lot getting ready to pull onto a major highway brakes failed, and vehicle slid into the highway. Contacted dealer who couldn't find anything wrong. When applying the brakes and stopping to turn a corner there is a loud noise coming from the brakes. The pedal is soft, and if the brakes don't stop the vehicle driver has to press the brakes again until can get the vehicle to come to a stop. The dealer said there was no problem with the brakes.
