Believed to have been previously replaced under recall of '93. When contacting our local Ford dealership we were told our vin# did not come up therefore meaning that the part was replaced under the recall once already. The check valve within the fuel pump assy causes a portion of the unused fuel from one tank to be returned to the second tank which is causing the capacity of the second tank to cause fuel spillage. Recall 93v125000/fuel tank assembly: taken vehicle to three oak Ford-mercury dealer in tree oak, michigan; phone # 616/756-2081 for recalls repairs. One month later, problem reoccurred. Taken vehicle back, and dealer informed that they were only responsible for one repair.Seeking help from nhtsa on this matter concerning recall repairs failure.
