When both fuel tanks are filled the unburned fuel returns to the the tank not in use, causing overflow. The manufacturer has been notified about the problem. The problem has not been corrected. Supposedly a recall repair was done in 1994 without out consumers knowledge. This correction did not resolve problem. There's a recall ,malfunctioning check valve within fuel pump ass. Fuel spillage on truck lindquist Ford 3950 middle rd. Bettendorf ia. Ph.319-449-9001 Charged 823.20 Like to recieve the money back on this recall they replaced 1 f4tz*9a407*p 1 f4tz*9a407*r pump&bracket ass.- Fuel each 268.30 Labor amount 240.00 Parts 536.60 Tax 46.60 Total 823.20 Can you please help me recieve this money back to me . Owner was having trouble with fuel flowing from one tank to another & overflowing onto the ground. Brought vehicle in 10/10/95. Spoke to dealership & was informed that manufacturer indicated that vehicle was repaired in 1996. Owner has not taken vehicle for repairs of fuel tank.
