The Autopilot feature malfunctioned twice on one drive today, while passing slower moving large vehicles on a divided highway. As I was passing these vehicles, the adaptive cruise control rapidly decelerated, which required intervention in my part to avoid the cars behind me from hitting me. This has not been reported to dealer, has not been inspected, and no warnings occurred before, during or after the events. Forward collision avoidance
On multiple occastions my car has suddenly applied the brakes when using cruise control. The braking ranges from mild to severe. This hasn't resulted in an accident but there has been a close call when a car was following closely. I have brought this to Tesla's attention and there response was along the lines of there is nothing that can be done to fix it and it should get better over time. It has not got better.
