Lost power while driving for 30 seconds. While on the interstate. Now truck battery has to be jumped to start. Dashboard giving out random codes. Check 4x4, check DEF( def is still at half full), check trailer( no trailer is connected) Took to dealership, 4 active codes P0336, P12A6, U029D, U029E. Tail gate is opening on its own. We checked the recall list and although our year, make and model is listed, the vin# doesn't show a recall. Clearly, there are more vehicles affected than GMC has included. This is a very serious safety issue and we thought you should be aware that perhaps the recall on the tailgates involve more vehicles than they've included. Electrical system

The vehicle will not allow the truck to be turned off everytime, it states the truck must be in park to be turned off, and the truck is in park. The engine lost power and staleld twice, and loses accelerator power multiple times. The transmission has dis-engaged 3 times. All of this since July 2026. The truck has 54,000 miles on it.
