The contact owns a 2020 Ford Mustang. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument panel became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the APIM and FCIM had failed and needed to be replaced and reprogrammed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The back up camera periodically has a black screen or a blue screen. The sound of an object getting closer some times works and sometimes doesn't. Also the lines showing where the tires are on the camera do not appear either. Transmission was replaced under warranty for several issues. It's the 10 speed version. However even with the new transmission. It tends to lag on gear 4 mainly. Electrical system
I suspect an electrical problem/short is causing my passenger side window to open and close about half an inch uncontrollably. This has been a minor inconvenience but last time it happened, it triggered the passenger door to open when driving. I had to pull over to manually secure the door. Very troubling safety issue.
