In owners' own words

My 2018 Nissan Murano Intelligent Forward Collision Warning System (IFCWS) kicks on randomly and inadvertently when there is no forward collision risk. This causes the IFCWS light to come on and the cruise control to be disabled while driving causing a higher risk of an accident. This is a known issue that has yet to have a recall. Forward collision avoidance
Forward collision warning light comes on and off while driving. When the light comes on the cruise control will not work and when the light goes off I need to reset the cruise control. This started about two months ago. Forward collision avoidance
The FCW turns off within 10 miles of driving. The FCW light clears up if the vehicle is shut off and restarted. However FCW warning comes back up and the FCW system is disabled. Forward collision avoidance
