My Shift To Park senor come on often and wouldn't let me turn the vehicle off. I have taken to dealership for repair. Long wait and because parts are back ordered due to numerous vehicles having this same problem. This has left me stranded in my vehicle and not able to turn it off and leave the vehicle. I feel this is unsafe and should be handled on a recall. I am now without a vehicle for who knows how long? Power train
Starting about a month ago when I put my car in park and then turn my vehicle off a 'shift to park' warning comes on and the car will not turn off. The car is in park and I have to shift to a different gear and back to park trying to get it to register it is in park. Sometimes it takes multiple times of trying this before it will recognize it. My vehicle is past the 36,000 miles with about 42,000 miles. Power train · reported at 42,000 miles
