The contact owns a 2016 Ford Transit. The contact stated while sitting in the vehicle, he noticed the windshield was damaged and caused water to leak into the vehicle. The vehicle was diagnosed with windshield failure; however not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V192000 (Visibility). My vehicle has been at a Ford dealership for more than 6 months for nhtsa campaign id: 20v260000 my glass is cracked. The dealership took my vehicle apart and then realized the replacement glass was broken. The dealership is unable to secure the glass to complete the recall. Ford states the glass is on indefinite backorder. Ford has proven they can not fix this vehicle recalll - I would like a buyback. Structure · reported at 40,000 miles
Fuel efficiency far from stated. This ia an xlt model with a 1.6L ecoboost engine, and a stated mpg efficiency of 25/29. The actual measured hwy efficiency is 22.3 Mpg while on cruise control, at interstate highway posted speed limits, on wind-less, sunny days, and zero-load other than driver's weight.
