In owners' own words
Unknown, but believe that is it coolant leak related as the vehicle has been losing coolant. We have been needing to fill with coolant. The fan was running occasionally. The vehicle has no power. This is dangerous because the vehicle could have shut off while driving. The vehicle has not yet been seen by the dealership but will been getting an appointment to do so. There were no warning lights or any other warnings. Engine · reported at 145,330 miles
While driving on Interstate 75 from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa, the check engine light began to flash and the car began to shake violently. I had to bring it into a Ford dealer in Naples FL. It turns out that there is a known coolant intrusion issue into the engine and a class action lawsuit has been filed against Ford. There are a number of technical service bulletins as well however they are not issuing a recall. Engine
Ford has a recall on 2016 Ford Fusion transmission cable shifter. My car is not under the recall but displays the issues the recall states. My car jerks during acceleration and difficult to park. Can please help me resolve the issue with Ford. They refuse to fix the issue because my car VIN# was not placed under the recall. It is not fair for me to pay for an mechanical issue that was defective by Ford causation. Engine
