In owners' own words

Increased brake pedal effort to the point of difficulty to stop or control brake pressure at low speeds. This seems like the same issue reported in Safety Recall #N192268499-01, but my VIN is outside the covered range. Is the effected range in the recall correct? This has happened intermittently since we purchased the vehicle private party in 2022 with 115.5k miles on it, but is getting worse. Service brakes
An intermittent issue where the bakes fail to engage at low speed. I've noticed it when pulling into parking spaces and inching forward in stop and go traffic. It feels as if there is no hydraulic pressure in the system, and I can feel the abs pulsing the pedal when it happens. Took it to the gm dealer - they said the brake vacuum pump is failing. Full replacement of the pump is needed. Service brakes · reported at 84,000 miles
Power brake failure as described in NHTSA 19V645 and 20V603. The problem and solution is identified by CHEVROLET Special Coverage bulletin N182202780-01 (October 11, 2019): BRAKE ASSIST DECREASE DUE TO VACUUM LOSS. Dealer CONCORD CHEVROLET (CA) would not recognize the Special Coverage Bulletin or fix the problem. CHEVROLET was notified and has not agreed to repair (case#9-8126430790). Service brakes
