Driving on the highway and city street it has happened at least 3 times in the last couple months, the park assit, stabillity track and last night the steering assist came on along with other lite lights brake, abs which I have recorded on my phone. At the moment its at the dealer, per service advisor they " had the truck on drove it and has happened of now to them, requested to keep another day to recheck tomorrow. I have a 2015 Tahoe that looses break pressure at idle rpm in drive, once you raise the rpms the brake pressure will come back. We have almost hit multiple vehicles when trying to stop in a parking spot or in line at drive thru's. The problem is the brake vacuum pump is failing and I will be purchasing a new one and replacing it, I have been quoted upwards of $1000 for parts and labor for this faulty part. Brakes were faulty. The car was not stopping at slow speeds. After going back and forth with dealer and showing them the 'diagnostic tip' out for this known issue, they replaced vacuum pump free of charge. I asked why they didn't replace the other items listed as recommended on the notice. Now 7 months later, the other parts are leaking and need replacement. This should have been replaced at same time.
