Car driving normally until sudden power steering failure. Steering wheel stayed straight when I tried to veer left - I had to use two hands to steer for the rest of the drive. This couldâve been dangerous in the initial moments as I was driving downhill and around a curve in wet weather. No dash lights have come on, and I havenât driven it again yet. Car hasnât been inspected yet as itâs Friday afternoon. Steering
Power steering failure accompanied by steering warning light. Vehicle difficult to steer and steering systems seems to be trying to assist in the opposite direction trying to steer. No accidents or damage at this time but seems to pose a dangerous situation. Dealer did not refuse to diagnose but discouraged leaving vehicle for diagnosis until failure was continuous as opposed to the current intermittent failure. Steering
The first time it happened, the power steering of the car suddenly stopped working while driving on the highway. Now it happens randomly and usually start with a quick jerking motion of the steering wheel. I've looked into this and lot of Honda Accord owners had this issue before. I want to file a complains on this and see if the NHTSA can do anything to have Honda address/fix this issue for me. Thanks, Steering
