In owners' own words
When turning left at a busy intersection, the car stalled. I could not accelerate at all. The airconditioning was still running and the car was otherwise on but it completely stalled. I had to turn the engine off and turn it back on in order for the car to accelerate. I was able to drive it approximately 20 feet and the car stalled again with all the same characteristics as before. No check engine light came on. Engine
While I was driving, the car stalled. The tach reading droped to zero, and engine light was on. I tried restarting my car. I could drive slowly, but the engine light was still on, and the tach reading was still zero. This happened for a few times --- when I drove on highway, on a local street, and when I waited for a long light. If starting after a long enough rest, those symptoms might disappear temporarily.
