In owners' own words
2004 Chevy tahoe that has a speedometer malfunction. The vehicle is going 120 mph when it is sitting still.. I have read numerous complaints about this issue and gm has yet to have a recall and fix this problem..I believe they are waiting for consumers to die before they bring this issue to the forefront..Current fix is a replacement bezel for 600.00 ..If this is a common failure then why aren't we fixing it?? Electrical system
The speedometer quits working or gets jumpy and sporadic in when and how it works. Vehicle only has 57000 miles on it. The only event that we thought caused it was the really cold temperatures but its warmer now and completely quit working. It is everytime we are in the vehicle driving that it doesn't work. We have not got it fixed yet. Researching problem first to make sure no recalls were done on it first. Electrical system · reported at 56,000 miles
