The vehicle experienced a no start condition and would stall while the car was stopped and while being driven, the dealer has replaced several components (tp sensor, crankshaft position sensor, air filter, kick down switch, coil assembly) but the vehicle continues to stall, the consumer believes the problem may be associated with recall 00v-259 of the maf sensor which was performed by the dealer. Recall notice for 2000 Hyundai Elantra. The consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for possible cracks in the manifold. It was inspected and the repairs were completed. *Nj the consumer stated the check engine light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop and the consumer was informed the manifold was cracked and had to be replaced along with the attached catalytic converter. Engine and engine cooling
2000 Hyundai Elantra - new------------7/05 w/ 17,923 mileage on the car. I needed to replace the motor on the pass. Front window & both back windows. It is now 12/07 and I need to replace the same motors in all 3 windows , my car now has 29,420 mileage on the car. The window that I would use the most is the drivers front , is just fine.
