In owners' own words

Abs system would not clear codes 71-74 during diagnostic testing. Flowchart specifies part replacement, however, abs light on dash has never illuminated except for the two seconds after vehicle started. Safety is an issue when testing requires replacment, but the driver is not warned. Component was tested because car pulled to the left when brakes applied. Later determined to be a bad remanufactured caliper. Service brakes, hydraulic
On rainy day went to slow down, brake pedal made clicking noise as I applied preasure. Then it went to the floor and vehicle moved fowards into the back of a stopped car at a traffic light. A mechinc at sears garge said he though the 1994,s and 1995,s had problems with abs systems. I would like to know how many other acicidents have occured since 1994 involving abs system on surbubans? Thank you. Service brakes, hydraulic
I have had problematic anti-skid since purchasing this vehicle, and have had dozens of near accidents and actually have been forced to veer into shoulders and ditches to prevent disaster. We are afraid to drive this vehicle and want to get rid of it. The dealer has been informed of this on numerous occassions, but continuously charges us to 'adjust' or replace the brakes and says this problem is normal. Service brakes, hydraulic
